This lovely tablerunner was originally featured in Create and Decorate magazine. Felted wool is wonderful to work with and is great for a portable project. This tablerunner would make a lovely addition to any home and is also quick and easy enough to make as a gift.
The raw edge of felted wools will not ravel when cut. If your wool has already been felted, it is ready to use and requires no further preparation. If you are using wool that has not been felted, wash it in hot water with a small amount of detergent. Rinse in cold water. Dry in a hot dryer. It is then ready to use. Try felting your own using up-cycled wool from coats, skirts or sweaters.
