Batik Beauty Quilt Pattern

This beautiful quilt was designed using fat quarters of batik fabrics in jewel tones but it would look equally stunning done in a selection of earth toned fabrics OR brights – choose a colour scheme that you love and make it your own!!

RECOMMENDED WITH THIS PATTERN
light batik fabric for blocks – 3m [3 3/8yd]
inner Border #2 – 0.3m [3/8yd]
outside Border – 1.6 m [13/4yd]
inner Border #1- 0.3m [3/8yd]
medium or dark batik fabrics for blocks – 22 fat quarters (sample used 7 pink, 5 purple, 6 blue and 4 green)
batting – 100″ x 100″
backing – 7.5m [8yd]
binding – 0.75m [3/4yd]
Basic quilting supplies such as a rotary cutter, mat, ruler, pins, sewing machine and thread.
