You asked for it, so we’ve delivered! Valdani”s exceptionally beautiful Pearl Cotton which is hand-dyed in lead-free dyes and guaranteed colorfast is now available on our site. This thread is great for any embroidery, quilting, appliqué, crochet, punchneedle, and thread embellishment project.
We’ve decided to add a few sets to start in only the size 8 and size 12. If there are individual colours that you would like, we can always special order for you – the colours are the same as for the embroidery floss!!
- Size 12 (the finest) – For: patterns where you want a finer thread for more definition, in Embroidery, Stitching, Quilting, Crochet, Punchneedle, heavier Tatting.
- Size 8 (medium weight) – For: Stitching, Hand Quilting, Appliqué, Crochet, heavier Punchneedle, Rug-Hooking, Bobbin Work.
- Size 5 (heavy) – For: Stitching, Quilting, Bobbin Work, Crochet, Rug-Hooking, Tassel and Fringe-Making.
